Shipment went very well and fast. Product received in mint condition, but unfortunate, I had to pay custom tax. The built quality is suberb and heavy. Compared to my previous cd player, an Original cd player, I can hear the instruments better apart from each other. I can also hear more details than before. Previously, whilst listening for example K. Melua, the background music was very faint and 'dark-ish', but now, with this cd player, the background music is more upfront and also very detailed. This is really a joy to my ears! The treble is stable and the bass is deeper than before, which I very much like. It sounds very balanced. What I do not like is the remote control. It's plastic and it feels cheap. The buttons feels fragile, but are responsive. Like those universal ones you buy at a discount store. Shanling gives you batteries though for immediate usage.
